Flex, JavaFX and ActionScript

As you may recall I have been experimenting with ActionScript mainly used in Flash development efforts. Innovations are coming online everyday. I recently added the JavaFX module to my NetBeans installation and this looks like a promising choice for quick declarative GUI development.

Here is an interesting article on Flex, JavaFX and ActionScript if you would like to learn more about these web development environments.

Hi Regina,

You should also consider Curl (http://www.curl.com). Curl is the second most mature RIA product available today (Java applets are the most mature).

In addition, Curl is faster than Ajax or Flex, more secure than Adobe AIR, and more stable than JavaFX.

All the best,

I have used curl and like it. Thanks for your comment. The only problem I have? It is open source. I really like Java and C for web development work.
