World Weather Tool Update Successful

I reported on Q's Wire yesterday, that the World Weather widget located on WiredPages was not providing weather information-- see here.

Happy to report that yesterday, while debugging the AP feed code-- I also corrected the problem with the weather tool and it is now working correctly.

Weather.com did not provide the same license and key that they provided in 2003 when I first signed up. This is a note to those that check my stats. I used the old license and key-- and not the one that was provided yesterday. The numbers were very similar however those that were provided yesterday appear to be lower than those I had in the code. Normally when one signs up for a service the account numbers or keys are larger. This is probably no big deal-- I simply like for things like this to track. Google and Technorati use the same keys. Weather.com did not. Site statistics the issue I am concerned with.
