Emailing Affiliate Support
I recently wrote to an affiliate program concerning a problem with impression and sales credit for one of my affiliate advertisers. I provide links to the the New York Times Best Sellers and show the book covers with my affiliate links.
I thought the book cover images would show the credit. Apparently not so I added the 1x1 pixel graphic the other night. Still no credit.
The original correspondence I sent was responded to with an incident tracking number. The response I received recently from someone claiming to be with DoubleClick--
Hello,
I am the Performics program manager on the Barnes & Noble.com account. Nasira passed your information onto me and let me know that you are concerned that the number of impressions being reported is low.
Performics counts one impression every 30 minutes from each computer. So the most you could generate a day from your own computer is 48 impressions.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Shea

Does google have an email service other than gmail? Here is the screen grab [Thunderbird email application]:

I responded to the first response I received with the DoubleClick incident number. Too many think they are clever. They are not.
FBI/DOJ someone has a funny bone. Is fraud funny?
