How to Bore the Public...
This post is about long winded press releases -- I submitted the following to pr.com:
My name is Regina Thomas, my company, QiSoftware -- www.qisoftware.com and I am a business blogger. I am owner/moderator of the BusinessBlogs Yahoo! group. We are conducting a membership drive. If you are a business blogger and would like to network with other business bloggers click on this link to join us BusinessBlogs.
Even if you are not yet a business blogger, but thinking of becoming one -- this maybe a useful resource for your startup endeavors.
Sorry Spammers -- there is a zero tolerance for e-mail spamming so this is probably not the group for you.
We are also looking for group moderators. If you are interested -- after joining send an e-mail to the group owner indicating your desire.
A pr.com editor decided it should be longer. I disagreed so needless to say I won't submit anything else via the promoters of online bores. Now I know why I only read the first paragraph of most online news stories...
I am not a writer, however I read a lot... In my opinion the internet is often long winded. I think too many hardcopy editors think the Internet is their second home.
You think some of my posts are a bit long winded? Lawyers need details.
